March 30, 2005 - Alpha 3 Release
Enhancements
Initial PDF - You can now preview and save a report in PDF format. Not all the
element attributes such as fonts and colors have been translated to pdf yet. Will be in next update.
Fixes
Internet Explorer - Error when screen is loading and user hovers over anything that has a popup.
Setting a font using the property editor generated a javascript error. Errors generated when a report
is first loaded. Several other IE related errors and stability issues.
March 25, 2005 - Alpha 2 Release
Enhancements
Easier editing - All gui elements now display little squares that define how an item can be edited.
Animation dashed boxes are now displayed when elements are edited.
Dynamic Updates - The gui sends micro updates using HttpXML to the server so synching the editor with the server
is no longer needed. All operations are now done on the server and changes are fed back to the browser to update
the current display as needed. If you do not see a change in the browser, it probably failed.
When in doubt, simply refresh the editor screen.
The preview window is now a popup as well as several other windows. You can leave the preview window open,
edit your report, and press the preview button to watch it update. This makes the edit-preview cycle much faster
and easier than it used to be.
Fixed lots of bugs with updating properties and rendering.

Notes
We suggest you use firefox 1.0+ at this time. We've determined that Internet Explorer is 10 times
slower than Firefox in executing javascript. This is inherent in how IE renders a screen. While Internet Explorer is still ok,
Firefox will deliver a much faster and better experience.
Note that BZbyte Reports uses javascript heavily and only Internet Explorer and Firefox are supported
at this time due to the inherent differences in browsers. Other browsers will probably have bugs or not work at all.
